The Camp Experience, Defined

Whether a first-timer or veteran, each time you walk through our doors, you’re entering a safe environment of continual support and encouragement. Everyone’s journey as part of our Awesome Fit Family begins with a personal greeting from our friendly staff and certified fitness trainers.

When it’s time to get down to business, participation in any of our structured fitness programs begins with a thorough explanation of the specific workout. All members are directed to go at their own pace, and group sessions always begin with a safe warmup exercise to avoid undue stress or injury. No matter the program or challenge, each workout session is designed to accommodate any level of fitness – from beginner to experienced. During the course of our workouts (typically 50 minutes to one hour), our certified trainers continually monitor, instruct, and correct your technique. Rest assured, your physical safety and limitations are always at the forefront of our concern.

Our workout sessions are designed to be high energy, keeping you motivated, engaged, and focused on making progress towards your weight loss goals. As you progress at The Camp Transformation Center San Diego, you’ll be encouraged to try more intense workout programs – so don’t hesitate to inquire about your next fitness challenge.

Our Philosophy

At The Camp Transformation Center San Diego, we stick to the highest ideals and standards for members of our Awesome Fit Family. When we encourage you to work out within your limits and according to your own pace, we mean it! Though you will be challenged to push past your limits, we’ll never put your physical safety at risk. Our certified trainers will teach you how to see opportunities instead of obstacles. Once you share your weight loss goals with our training staff, we’ll see to it that you experience a level of physical exertion that produces maximum results – without going overboard.

Check-In

You’ll be greeted as soon as you walk in the door by our trainers. They’ll talk you through the upcoming workout, how to navigate class, and answer any questions you have.

At The Camp, individuals with big goals have a variety of opportunities to achieve them. At the basic level, memberships include unlimited classes, nutritional guidance and an encouraging environment that makes making it to the gym fun. In addition to membership, The Camp offers the 6-week challenge focused on achieving your weight loss goals.

So excited to have found this place! I just signed up and completed my first week, and couldn't be happier with classes! I love the flexibility of the schedule, the HITT workouts are fantastic, the staff & trainers are beyond nice, and all right in Tierrasanta!!! Can't believe it took me so long to find. I really love this place! The atmosphere is amazing. The trainers/nutritionists have been so helpful. The workouts are challenging but they are HIIT workouts so it'll def keep you sweating. I started my 21 day fitness challenge on Monday and I'm already feeling great!

I just finished the 6 week challenge and I met my goal! The whole staff are very friendly and approachable. The community was very welcoming and not at all intimidating. Pros: classes are 45 mins long, trainers set up challenging workouts, front desk people are always nice and patient, great music is played most of the time, And evening classes offered up to 7pm. The only gym I’ve had results feeling strong going 5-6 days a week in 9 months! Con: I’m not a morning person, 8am is the last class of the weekday morning. But I make it to the 9am Saturday class.

I did one session at this camp because my girlfriend was taking the 20lbs/6weeks challenge. She failed but really enjoyed the gym. I'm not a big fan of gyms but they are good at motivating people. My girlfriend is still going there.

This place is the best. They care about the people who come here to work out, the members and the people who are doing challenges. If you are having difficulties with an exercise or station, they will tailor it to your needs. Amazing! The Camp Transformation Center has been changing my life one day at a time. The staff is fantastic, and everyone is accommodating.

Decided to try the camp because two of my good friends were successful with the challenge. I chose to do the hard body challenge. I was a college athlete and went to the gym frequently for the past 20 years or so however I was never truly satisfied with the results.I decided it was time to challenge myself and get into better shape. Even though I have been a part of many different workout programs the HIIT program has always been a little intimidating. From day one I absolutely love the gym and the people there. There are many different people with many different stories and all have one goal in common!! We all want to get into better shape and commit to change!! I was able to complete the challenge and lost 5.8% BF but more importantly I gained confidence and the knowledge to continue this journey in my own. I have every intention on continuing this journey!!! I closing I just want to tell everyone, if you are thinking about it...... DO IT!! You will not regret your decision, this camp has changed so many peoples live and will continue to do so!!! Also, besides the people that are there, the staff is amazing!! They are all great, helpful and very knowledgeable. I just want to say Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!
