The Camp Experience, Defined

Whether a first-timer or veteran, each time you walk through our doors, you’re entering a safe environment of continual support and encouragement. Everyone’s journey as part of our Awesome Fit Family begins with a personal greeting from our friendly staff and certified fitness trainers.

When it’s time to get down to business, participation in any of our structured fitness programs begins with a thorough explanation of the specific workout. All members are directed to go at their own pace, and group sessions always begin with a safe warmup exercise to avoid undue stress or injury. No matter the program or challenge, each workout session is designed to accommodate any level of fitness – from beginner to experienced. During the course of our workouts (typically 50 minutes to one hour), our certified trainers continually monitor, instruct, and correct your technique. Rest assured, your physical safety and limitations are always at the forefront of our concern.

Our workout sessions are designed to be high energy, keeping you motivated, engaged, and focused on making progress towards your weight loss goals. As you progress at The Camp Transformation Center San Marcos, you’ll be encouraged to try more intense workout programs – so don’t hesitate to inquire about your next fitness challenge.

Our Philosophy

At The Camp Transformation Center San Marcos, we stick to the highest ideals and standards for members of our Awesome Fit Family. When we encourage you to work out within your limits and according to your own pace, we mean it! Though you will be challenged to push past your limits, we’ll never put your physical safety at risk. Our certified trainers will teach you how to see opportunities instead of obstacles. Once you share your weight loss goals with our training staff, we’ll see to it that you experience a level of physical exertion that produces maximum results – without going overboard.

You’ll be greeted as soon as you walk in the door by our trainers. They’ll talk you through the upcoming workout, how to navigate class, and answer any questions you have.

At The Camp, individuals with big goals have a variety of opportunities to achieve them. At the basic level, memberships include unlimited classes, nutritional guidance and an encouraging environment that makes making it to the gym fun. In addition to membership, The Camp offers the 6-week challenge focused on achieving your weight loss goals.

This gym gives me the best workouts. I haven’t met a trainer that I didn’t love and the community is also amazing. Incredible vibe and a better workout than I can get trying to come up with my own routine. Definitely worth it! I feel better emotionally and physically after starting here and recommend 10/10!

I love everything about this gym! Trainers are outstanding, workouts are amazing, and I am in better shape than I've been in years. One of the things I love most is how they always have great alternatives if there is an exercise I can't do because of injury. They focus on both strength as well as mobility which has also greatly improved my flexibility. The workouts are designed that you can make them as hard or easy as you want depending on weights you choose or intensity. I have been to other hiit gyms as well as gyms like 24 hour fitness and this is easily my favorite. I go 5-6 days per week because I love it so much!

I highly recommend this place! As a student, it’s difficult to have time to go to a gym and get a workout in, but with camp, they give you access to a variety of different time slots to make it in. There are multiple trainers with a unique style to their classes and who are very motivational! The camp has not only helped me with my physique but has also helped me be more comfortable around other amazing people.

Transform Camp is a fantastic community of people of all fitness levels. I have been at TC for just over a year and love it! The Camp instructors are excellent at what they do, motivating, encouraging, and bringing fresh, challenging workouts to each session. First time attempting a group training program and it was amazing! Coach Rome will push you pass any mental barriers you have which will empower you to be a better version of yourself. The facility is super clean with no spider webs on the ceiling and everybody is friendly and ready to put in the work. No excuses, just hard work! I definitely recommend this facility to anyone and everyone. Thank you Coach Rome for helping me fall in love with something I have dreaded for so long; High Intensity Interval Training!

I started at Camp Transformation 2 months ago. I'm 60 years old and was a bit concerned about the workouts and irritating previous injuries. I have been amazed how the workouts with some of the recommended supplements have supported me to work out harder than I ever thought possible. I'm feeling really strong and my days feel energetic.
